pink and purple...

This sweet girl is just plain cute and frilly these days.  We have a couple of tu-tu's around here and when we get home from school this girl likes to slip into one of them (usually the purple one.)  It's the cutest thing ever as she will immediately twist her waist to make sure that it still swishes the way it did the day before.

She is really into Angelina Ballerina and likes to mimic some of Angelina's dance steps, I was able to catch a few last week out on the back deck.  Along with the tu-tu's and ballerina's she also decided that anyone that wears a dress is a "princess!"  We sure are loving our pink and purple sweetie and this oh so precious stage we are in!

Baby Beckett!

Our new nephew, Beckett came to visit us this weekend with his big sister Ruby.  We had a fun night loving on this new wee addition to our family.  Ollie, Ruby and Sarah Claire played and played and played Friday night and we went on a family field trip to the Science Center after breakfast on Saturday.  So sweet!

Big girl haircut...

Sarah Claire got her first big girl hair cut yesterday. She did great, sat in the seat like a pro, while Ollie and I watched from the waiting area!  We love it, she does look so big though...the back is stacked a bit, need to snap a picture of that here soon.  This bottom pic was taken in the car on the way home while she enjoyed her after hair cut lollipop!

Labor Day...

Happy September...things have been rolling along here in Hannamland, Ollie loves school and I am beginning to love being a first grade teacher again!  We scooted away for Labor Day weekend to Sunset Beach, my parents decided to come along as well.  On Sunday we drove down to Broadway at the Beach to see the Myrtle Beach sights, it was sunny and hot!  That's Matt and Olls in the blue car thing.
And SC and I in the race cars!!! She loved it!!
 So did Ollie!
Headed to Ron Jon's surf shop for our first t-shirts from there!
Got a bit dressed up for a seafood dinner on Sunday night, I was hoping to get some good family pics on the sand but it didn't happen, sigh!

We did play putt putt...until the mosquitoes ate us alive!
And we visited the beach a couple of times, Sarah Claire and I made a castle!
My mom snapped this shot, thanks mom!
This photo is out of order, this is back at home the kids decided to dress up like detectives, funny!
And back to the Labor Day pics with a smooch from Grandpa Charlie...oh she loves that guy!!  We are looking forward to some cooler temps in the upcoming week and I've got many Pinterest pins lined up with super fun fall projects and ideas, hoping I find the time to get to some of them!
