Happy fall?!

So fall is officially here, this graceful mum adorns our front porch, welcoming you, welcoming the season she so proudly represents.
BUT, this was the scene at 1810 this afternoon. Olls was covered in playground and paint when I picked him up from school. It was a bit too early for a bath, but not too late to enjoy these un-seasonably warm temps, the last little bit of sun and some good ole water play.
Happy fall, sweet boy!

tent time!!!

Olls and I pulled out the tent this afternoon, it's a favorite rainy day activity except today he scooted in and said oooh mommy I sleep in this pack and plays, so funny!

Sorry for the lack of blog updates, we've been busy around these parts. Busy cleaning and organizing our house. We decided about 3 weeks ago to put our house on the market. We LOVE our house, its been such a sweet place to hang our hats for the past 7 years but we would like to try and find something a little bit bigger. So we'll see what happens, if nothing else we have a very clean and organized home!

We've (well I've) been busy growing another Hannam. The preggers pouch has popped out. My kids at school tell me everyday that my belly is bigger than the day before, hmmm, thanks guys. We started measuring the circumference last Friday and will again every Friday, my kids get pumped about this for some reason. I would say I am officially hungry pretty much all the time, trying not to eat all the time, mind you. I started to text Matt yesterday to pick up the following items: some delicious bread, hashbrown casserole from Cracker Barrel and some white sauce from KiHa...notice I said started to text.

Olls has been busy at his new school, which we love, he loves! He been learning new songs and making new friends and tricks. That kid is a sponge I tell you and we soak it up!

Alden's house...

We headed to the boat for a little fun on Friday afternoon. Ollie calls the boat "Alden's house" because where we keep our boat there is a really fun 4 year old little boy, well and his parents, named Alden. Ollie and Alden have become big buds, so the whole trip down and the whole way home yesterday I might add, Ollie says...I want to go to Alden's house!!

Usually we stick around Oriental and see the sights even though they are simple and few, but this time we decided to go on a bit of an adventure. We sailed out to the South River and anchored out for the night on Saturday. We took the dinghy with us and rode to shore once we got there and found a sandy beach, which we played and swam for a little while. We then headed back to the boat for a delicious dinner of frogmore stew, yum! We enjoyed the sunset, waved to new friends and had a good ole time being together.

The good news...the weekend continues...Happy Labor Day, friends!
